Snøhetta, a transdisciplinary design practice including architecture, landscape architecture, interior design and product design, has created a new home for fashion brand Holzweiler just outside Oslo.

The headquarters has been designed as a multifunctional space, housing both a showroom and a design studio, as well as offices where the team works.

The renovation transformed an open space into an inviting and flexible place that facilitates the presentation of Holzweiler's fashions and adapts to the brand's ever-changing needs across seasons and collections.

Founded in 2012 by siblings Susanne and Andreas Holzweiler, Norwegian fashion house Holzweiler focuses on creating timeless collections.

Colors and materials

The Visitor Chairs, part of the Boring Collection, are combined in the showroom with marble tables and flowing curtains that follow the curved shapes of the specially designed material tables.

The bespoke D-chair in coloured wood is a beautiful material addition to the serene and monochromatic showroom.

The Boring Task Chair and Boring desks are placed in the office area and blend in with the surroundings, which is what the Boring collection is all about.

The Boring Collection won the Milano Design Award 2016 for Best Concept 🏆
