Rick Minkes is Lensvelt’s Lead Product Developer, he is the essential link between the designers and factories. A proud Cum Laude graduate from Delft University, Rick earned his Master’s degree in Industrial Design with an internationally renowned thesis, the topic being: Office Furniture in a Flex Environment. Rick develops the furniture together with the designers Lensvelt works with. He works efficiently, with a down-to-earth attitude and knows the essence of a design with academic precision, translating outlines into timeless, serial designs. His work is often depicted through sharp lines, clear volumes and pristine proportions.
