The Re-Public Chair draws inspiration from the familiar green chairs found in Parisian parks. Movable, accessible and inviting, it gives people the freedom to choose their own place and shape their own experience of public space.
For the launch, Lensvelt, ZUS and Flora Rotterdam created a striking installation on a Rotterdam rooftop. Colourful chairs, lush plant arrangements and wooden crates featuring graffiti artwork came together to form a temporary urban landscape. The vibrant colours stood out against the black rooftop, the iconic yellow Rooftop Days route and the Rotterdam skyline.
